Carnival is an apt word for what would happen if a bunch of mathematicians got together in the same room!!!!!

Well, you should try it some time. It can be fun and stimulating to be in a room of mathematicians, especially if you’re able to follow the discussions, but it’s rarely a Bacchanalian adventure. At least that’s true as far as my own experience goes!
